Training Program

We offer a comprehensive training program that is made up of three separate classes and was designed to be delivered at your location in one 8-Hour training day. Or, you can choose to have any of the individual classes conducted at a time and place of your choosing. The goal here is to provide life-saving training that covers everything from awareness, empowerment, reinforcement and medical issues and is taught using a “crawl, walk, run” method.

Phase 1

Surviving Active Shooter Attacks

This two-hour lecture-based course is designed to give the participants easy-to-understand principles and concepts that will empower them to act if necessary and assist them in preparing for and responding to an Active Shooter Attack. Topics covered in this course include Disaster Response Psychology, Past Active Shooter Events and Lessons Learned, F.B.I. Statistics, and the 6 Principles of Response.

  • 2 Hour Lecture

  • Exhibition of Life-Saving Equipment

  • Open Q&A Session

  • Any Number of Participants

Phase 2

Application & Reinforcement Training

Habituating yourself to the likely stressful events you will encounter in real life is the most important part of Active Shooter Response training. By participating in realistic scenarios, you will reinforce the training you have received by acting out the responses you’ve learned while under stress. This will implant those responses into your brain making it easier to draw from when an attack happens for real.

  • 2-Hour Hands-On training

  • Isolation Drills that reinforce techniques learned

  • Opportunity to use improvised objects to barricade doors

Phase 3

Tactical Emergency casualty care

The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course is designed to give the participants hands-on training in deploying an Individual First-Aid Kit during an Active Shooter Attack in order to treat life-threatening wounds and stop the dying. This course is critical in preparing for an effective response to an Active Shooter Attack and should be a part of every Emergency Action Plan. Knowing that first responders could be several minutes away, your preparedness and quick actions will decide who lives and who dies.

  • 3 Hour Hands-On Course

  • Up To 16 Participants
